Our Financial Due Diligence solution is&nbsp;comprised&nbsp;of several integrated capabilities that support our clients' needs throughout the transaction lifecycle. From day one,&nbsp;you’ll&nbsp;be empowered to help clients make the moves that will help them achieve their vision and help you achieve more, confidently.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage financial due diligence professionals on buy-side and sell-side transactions for our client base which includes corporate clients, private equity&nbsp;groups&nbsp;and commercial lenders.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage engagements throughout the transaction lifecycle and coordinate other Smith + Howard capabilities by&nbsp;leveraging&nbsp;the&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;of other service lines and cross-functional teams.&nbsp;</li><li>Plan, execute, direct and complete financial due diligence for financial and corporate strategic buyers from a variety of industries.&nbsp;</li><li>Examine &amp; analyze client data to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;key trends, quality of earnings adjustments and net working capital impacts.&nbsp;</li><li>Draft reports to communicate findings around quality of earnings, networking&nbsp;capital&nbsp;and business performance along with insights around the key financial and business issues in a transaction.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage client expectations concerning timing, progress, deliverables, deadlines, and lead&nbsp;change&nbsp;efforts effectively.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;strong client relationships.&nbsp;</li><li>Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls.&nbsp;</li><li>Recruit, manage, mentor, and train senior associates and associates.&nbsp;</li><li>Assess performance of senior associates and associates for engagement and year-end reviews.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting&nbsp;or related field&nbsp;required, Advanced degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum 6 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level&nbsp;required.</li><li>Industry recognized professional certification&nbsp;required, CPA or related license/certification preferred.</li><li>Strong current knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, transaction advisory services or mergers and acquisitions&nbsp;required.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous project in a rapidly growing practice.</li><li>Strong leadership, business development, recruitment, training, and mentoring skills.</li><li>Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communications skills.</li><li>Can travel as needed.
