Architecture  </span> </strong></p><ul> <li>  <span>   Architect and build connector solutions that integrate IoT sensors, controllers, and systems into cloud platforms.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Ensure interoperability across heterogeneous IoT systems by implementing robust data models and translation mechanisms.   <br/>   <br/>  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Design secure and scalable IoT architectures that ensure reliable data transfer from device to cloud.  </span> </li></ul><p> <strong>  <span>   Security &amp; Mentorship  </span> </strong></p><ul> <li>  <span>   Work with product managers, IoT engineers, and platform teams to define connector requirements and capabilities.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices for IoT data pipeline development.  </span> </li></ul><p> <strong>  <span>   Required Qualifications  </span> </strong></p><ul> <li>  <strong>   <span>    8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years focused on IoT, data connectors, ETL pipelines, or distributed systems.   </span>  </strong> </li> <li>  <span>   Expertise in developing IoT data ingestion pipelines, including data collection, cleaning, transformation, and storage.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Strong programming skills (C# and .NET).  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Familiarity with IoT communication protocols (MQTT, BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA, REST APIs).  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications (Azure IoT, AWS IoT, or equivalent).  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Solid understanding of distributed systems, messaging, and event-driven architectures.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Knowledge of security practices for IoT data flows including encryption, authentication, and device-to-cloud security models.  </span> </li></ul><p> <strong>  <span>   Preferred Qualifications  </span> </strong></p><ul> <li>  <span>   Experience building connectors for building automation systems, industrial protocols, or building?data models.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Familiarity with semantic data layers such as Brick, Haystack, or similar metadata frameworks.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Background in hardware?software integration or IoT environments.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Prior contributions to ETL frameworks, data modeling, or ingestion platform architectures.  </span> </li></ul><p> <strong>  <span>   Impact of the Role  </span> </strong></p><p> <span>  Your work will form the backbone of how building data enters the EcoStruxure Building Data Platform ecosystem.
