The role focuses on delivering innovative, cost-effective, and standards-compliant (IEC..) solutions tailored to customer-specific technical and market requirements. The candidate will be actively involved in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from concept through to production readiness. </span></p><p> <span> </span></p><p> <strong>  <u>   <span>    Key Responsibilities   </span>  </u> </strong></p><ul> <li>  <span>   Design and develop LV electrical distribution products in alignment with technical specifications and market needs.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Lead the end-to-end product development process including design, prototyping, testing, documentation, and manufacturing readiness.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Apply hands-on expertise in LV products such as MCCBs, ACBs, switches as well as accessories  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Conduct detailed engineering analysis using design fundamentals and tools (e.g., material strength, tolerance stack-up, mechanism design).  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Utilize 3D CAD software (e.g., Pro/ENGINEER) for complex design feasibility studies and modeling.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Demonstrate strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling for both metallic and plastic components.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) evaluations, recommending alternative materials and production methods.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Conduct design for reliability &amp; robustness. Apply six sigma requirements like QFD, DFMEA, P-Diagram  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Manage prototype development, build, and testing activities.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design issues.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, sourcing, finance, marketing, and suppliers to ensure design validation and production readiness.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Define &amp; carry out product qualification as well as validation testing. Support certification testing as per IEC testing (IEC 60947) using knowledge of standard, test procedure &amp; acceptance criteria. Root cause analysis in case of failure.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Maintain and update comprehensive product documentation including drawings, BOMs, and design guidelines.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Develop and update product documentation including drawings, BOM's and design guides. Product release in PDM softwares  </span> </li></ul><p> <strong>  <u>   <span>   </span>  </u> </strong></p><p> <strong>  <u>   <span>    Qualifications &amp; Skills   </span>  </u> </strong></p><p> <strong>  <u>   <span>   </span>  </u> </strong></p><ul> <li>  <span>   Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   5–8 years of experience in the design and development of low voltage electrical distribution devices / circuit breakers.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Proven expertise in product design, production engineering, and value engineering.  </span> </li> <li>  <span>   Understanding of product testing as per IEC 60947.
