Proactively identify and help address architectural deficiencies and technical debt (\"Serve\").</li><li>Execution &amp; Problem Solving: Execute key architectural initiatives with significant ownership (\"Make it Happen\"), navigating complex technical scenarios with increased independence and providing substantial support for troubleshooting complex production issues when required. Stay current with industry trends, particularly in Azure, .NET, FinTech, and security.</li><li>Cloud Architecture (Azure): Strong expertise designing, implementing, and deploying distributed, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. Significant experience with App Service, Functions, Container Apps (or AKS), Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage, Azure Front Door/App Gateway, CDN, Vnets, and related PaaS/IaaS services.</li><li>Backend Development: Strong proficiency in C# and modern .NET (Core / .NET 8+), including object-oriented/functional programming and asynchronous patterns. Experience with legacy .NET Framework (4.x) is desired.</li><li>Frontend Architecture: Good proficiency in modern front-end development and architecture using TypeScript and React (component design, state management).</li><li>Architecture Patterns &amp; Design: Solid experience designing microservices architectures, event-driven systems (event sourcing exposure beneficial), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and robust RESTful/GraphQL APIs.</li><li>DevOps &amp; Automation: Good experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Proficiency with Git. Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (Bicep, ARM, Terraform preferred).</li><li>Data &amp; Observability: Good understanding of database design for relational (Azure SQL/MS SQL Server) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB) databases. Experience implementing observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, distributed tracing, and Log Analytics (KQL).</li><li>Security: Strong understanding of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth/OpenID Connect SSO), encryption, and security principles. Experience in regulated environments (FinTech, financial services) dealing with compliance (PCI-DSS, GLBA) is beneficial.</li><li>Leadership &amp; Communication: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. Good facilitation, diagramming (C4/Archimate knowledge helpful), written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, influence stakeholders, and mentor engineers.</li><li>Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies (SAFe exposure beneficial).<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
