The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in SDET and a strong background in automated testing using tools such as Selenium, API Testing, Cypress, Appium, JMeter, and Karate. Responsibilities include developing and executing test plans, designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, ensuring testability and quality throughout the software development lifecycle, and collaborating with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure alignment on quality goals.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining metrics relating to test coverage and defects, investigating techniques such as CI, TDD/BDD, and automated testing, performing performance testing using JMeter, and mentoring and guiding junior QA team members. Required attributes include experience in a continuous delivery model, significant experience developing automated test cases using tools like Playwright, Cypress, strong knowledge of SQL, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred attributes include performance testing using JMeter and Karate, mobile app automation testing using Appium, and browser compatibility testing using Browser Stack. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 6+ years of proven work experience are required.
