Role Title: Plan Review Consultant I
Position Summary:
The Plan Review Consultant I is the entry level within the Plan Review Consultant job family and requires supervision and extensive mentoring. Under close supervision, the incumbent's main responsibility is to provide FM Global's best loss prevention advice related to the review of standard construction, equipment, occupancy and fire protection plans and drawings. The incumbent will also provide proactive guidance to clients/contractors/project engineers in both verbal and written communication to support and facilitate successful plan review services in a professional and helpful manner consistent with established processes, guidelines, Operating Standards and Operating Requirements. Consult with plan submitted to provide timely and accurate loss prevention advice and guidance in advance of project deadline(s) while striving for transparency towards having minimal to zero HPR-type recommendations throughout and upon project completion. Interact with Engineering Technical Consultants and team members across assigned territory (including DSPs/PCs/Field Engineers) daily/as needed and follow best practices to meet Service Level Objectives while providing high levels of client engagement and satisfaction. Incumbents require strong customer service and technical skills. Operates as a vital member of the Consulting & Technical Solutions team focused on positive customer experience in the most optimal and professional manner possible. Routinely coordinates and collaborates with Engineering Technical Consultants and (Intake & Delivery Specialists) as well as client service teams when needed. Continually reviews processes for opportunities to leverage technology and/or improve processes for efficiency gains to enhance job satisfaction and client experience. Their efforts directly contribute to the execution and achievement of the operations' objectives
