We're looking for an experienced professional with strong RPG <strong>OR</strong> COBOL programming skills who can manage projects through the full SDLC, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality solutions that support business operations and drive continuous improvement.</p><p><strong>What you will do:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Create technical specifications and perform programming, testing, and implementation to deliver high-quality business information processing systems.</li><li>Develop and maintain applications on IBM i platform.</li><li>Review proposed solutions using current programming practices and determine the most efficient method for developing the desired functionality.</li><li>Responsible for delivery of assigned projects through the entire SDLC on a committed timeline.</li><li>Participate in technical walkthroughs, coding, code reviews, and testing phases (unit, system, QA/UAT).</li><li>Provide support during Go-Live and post-deployment.</li><li>Analyses, debugs and supports existing application software</li><li>Assist with implementation of new applications and systems software, (i.e. upgrades, enhancements, fixes)</li><li>Assists with troubleshooting, debugging and inquires related to system functionality and performance</li><li>Collaborate closely with the team manager to ensure project timelines, quality standards, and client requirements are met.</li><li>Must be able to handle the entire life cycle of a project from requirements gathering to development, unit testing, assisting users with QA testing, UAT, deployment and follow-up support</li><li>Work with third parties, to determine problem solutions and corrective actions.</li><li>Perform 24/7 on-call support for critical business applications.
