About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Lead Technical Expert with a strong background in the telecom domain. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of telecom data, coupled with advanced skills in application architecture, cloud architecture, security architecture, full stack solutions, and data architecture. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge products, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions that address complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end technical design, development, and delivery of innovative products in the telecom sector.
Provide architectural guidance across application, cloud, security, full stack, and data domains, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business objectives.
Analyze and interpret complex telecom data, driving data-driven solutions and insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders—to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Define and enforce architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices across projects.
Oversee the evaluation, selection, and integration of relevant tools, technologies, and platforms.
Mentor and coach technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, high performance, and continuous learning.
Ensure security and compliance are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in telecom, cloud, security, and data architecture, recommending their adoption as appropriate.
Contribute to long-term technology strategy and roadmap development for the organization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
12+ years of progressive experience in software development and technical leadership roles.
In-depth understanding of telecom domain data, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Proven expertise in:
Application architecture and design patterns
Cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Security architecture and best practices
Full stack architecture (front-end and back-end technologies)
Data architecture (data modeling, data pipelines, data storage)
Hands-on experience with relevant tools and technologies (e.g., microservices, REST APIs, containerization, CI/CD, data lakes, security frameworks).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience delivering large-scale telecom solutions or products.
Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) or security (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
Familiarity with big data technologies and advanced analytics.
Experience with DevOps practices and automation.
Knowledge of telecom-specific protocols and standards.
