This position is responsible for configuring, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining next-generation security technologies, with a primary focus on <strong>Palo Alto firewall platforms</strong>, IDS/IPS solutions, VPN services, and cloud-based security controls.</p><p>You will work closely with highly skilled engineering teams across multiple IT domains to support secure connectivity, incident resolution, and large-scale security initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and industry best practices.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>How You Will Help Us Connect the World</strong></p><ul><li>Design, implement, and support a resilient network security infrastructure, including <strong>Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect</strong>, and IPSec/SSL VPN technologies.</li><li>Serve as the primary administrator for firewall environments, managing <strong>policy configurations, monitoring, auditing, and software updates</strong>.</li><li>Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain <strong>site-to-site and remote-access VPN tunnels</strong> to ensure secure global connectivity.</li><li>Perform deep technical analysis using <strong>log review, packet captures, and monitoring tools</strong> to identify root causes of complex security and network issues.</li><li>Partner with the <strong>Security Operations Center (SOC)</strong> to support security audits, compliance monitoring, and remediation efforts.</li><li>Collaborate across IT teams on <strong>large-scale, complex projects</strong> involving network security, cloud integrations, and infrastructure modernization.</li><li>Proactively manage ServiceNow ticket queues, take ownership of incidents and requests, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.</li><li>Develop and maintain <strong>support documentation</strong>, including network diagrams and technical designs.</li><li>Participate in <strong>on-call rotations</strong> and provide after-hours support for critical security incidents.</li><li>Continuously evaluate tools, processes, and architectures, bringing forward <strong>innovative ideas and improvement recommendations</strong>.</li></ul><p>This role has a and Skills for Consideration</strong></p><ul><li><strong>5+ years of hands-on experience</strong> administering enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto preferred).</li><li>Strong experience with <strong>firewall architecture, security policy management, and network security design</strong>.</li><li>Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including:<ul><li>Routing: <strong>BGP, OSPF, static routing</strong></li><li>Network services: <strong>DNS, DHCP</strong></li><li><strong>DMZ design, VRFs, and network segmentation</strong></li></ul></li><li>Experience configuring and troubleshooting <strong>IPSec and SSL VPNs</strong>.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>cloud firewall and WAF deployments</strong> (Azure, AWS, or GCP).</li><li>Experience using <strong>packet capture and log analysis tools</strong>, such as Wireshark and Splunk.</li><li>Knowledge of IDS/IPS technologies and general security best practices.</li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure,
