The role focuses on optimizing electrical designs for performance, cost, manufacturability, and sustainability, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.</p><h3> Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul> <li>  Lead and execute QVE projects to enhance product value through cost reduction, design simplification, and component optimization. </li> <li>  Analyze existing electrical designs of DCS products and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of cost, reliability, and performance. </li> <li>  Develop and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs using industry-standard CAD tools. </li> <li>  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Quality to implement design changes. </li> <li>  Evaluate alternate components and suppliers to support cost-out and supply chain resilience. </li> <li>  Support sustaining engineering for existing DCS products (UPS, PDU, STS &amp; battery Cabinets), including issue resolution and design updates. </li> <li>  Ensure compliance with relevant data centre standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, UL, NEC) and internal design protocols. </li> <li>  Conduct VAVE Workshop and generate ideas for Product Improvement and Cost reduction (Cost-out) </li> <li>  Basic understanding on Electrical Product / raw Material costing. Understand Direct cost and Indirect cost </li> <li>  Participate in design reviews, FMEA, and root cause analysis for field failures and quality issues. </li> <li>  Maintain accurate documentation and manage design changes through PLM systems. </li></ul><h3> Qualifications:</h3><ul> <li>  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering </li> <li>  8–10 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in data center infrastructure, 3Phase UPS, power distribution units (PDUs), rack-level systems, or electrical panels. </li> <li>  Strong understanding of electrical components, circuit protection, power distribution, and grounding systems. </li> <li>  Experience with QVE, value engineering, or cost optimization projects. </li> <li>  Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar design tools. </li> <li>  Familiarity with PLM systems and change management processes. </li> <li>  Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. </li></ul><p> Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?</p><p> When you are thinking about joining a new team, culture matters.
