\n\n This role is for a data powerhouse who can bridge the gap between high-performance big\n
\n\n data processing on AWS and elite-level data warehousing in Snowflake. You will be\n
\n\n responsible for the entire lifecycle of data, ensuring that every pipeline includes robust\n
\n\n validation and observability.\n
\n\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n\n ? Big Data Processing: Leverage AWS EMR (Spark/Hive) for heavy-lift data\n
\n\n processing and Athena for serverless ad-hoc querying of S3 data lakes.\n
\n\n ? Data Validation: Implement Great Expectations (GX) or equivalent Python-based\n
\n\n validation libraries to prevent \"data silent failure\" within EMR and Snowflake ingestion\n
\n\n layers.\n
\n\n ? Snowflake Engineering: Architect end-to-end Snowflake environments, utilizing\n
\n\n SnowSQL for scripting and SnowPipe for continuous, automated data ingestion.\n
\n\n ? System Integration: Build and maintain Snowflake Integrations (Storage\n
\n\n Integrations with S3, API Integrations, and Notification Services).\n
\n\n ? Advanced ETL: Develop robust pipelines that transition data from raw AWS storage\n
\n\n into optimized Snowflake schemas.\n
\n\n Technical Requirements\n
\n\n ? Core Languages (Strong Proficiency Required):\n
\n\n ? SQL: Expert mastery of Snowflake-specific SQL extensions, CTEs, and\n
\n\n performance tuning (Micro-partitioning).\n
\n\n ? Python: Advanced scripting for automation, Boto3 for AWS resource\n
\n\n management, and data manipulation.\n

\n ? Data Quality: Proven experience implementing automated data testing and\n
\n\n validation frameworks within production pipelines.\n
\n\n ? AWS Stack: Extensive experience with EMR, Redshift, Athena, S3, and IAM\n
\n\n security policies.\n
\n\n ? Snowflake Mastery: * Proven experience with Snowflake Data Engineering\n
\n\n features (Streams, Tasks, and External Tables).\n
\n\n ? Hands-on usage of SnowPipe for real-time or near-real-time data loading.\n
