Role Overview: We are seeking a highly driven and creative Junior Designer to support end-to-end product development for Men's Performance categories at Cult, including Training, Running, and Outdoor. This role requires a strong understanding of activewear design, technical fabrics, garment construction, and product development. The candidate will support seasonal range creation from concept development to commercialization while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Research
• Conduct trend, competitor, and market research for seasonal concept development.
• Participate in consumer surveys, market visits, and product feedback exercises.
• Translate research insights into design concepts and product opportunities.
• Create seasonal design sketches, garment ats, and construction callouts.
• Techpack making with with all the technical details, print measurements & hand over to sourcing and tech team.
• Support development of graphics, trims, branding, and product details.
Product Development
• Create and maintain tech packs, linesheets, and design documentation.
• Participate in Fit & Sample reviews for the styles & wearer’s trial for new ts.
• Support reviews of lab dips, strike offs, trims, and branding applications.
• Document development comments and support timely closure of development milestones.
• Maintain design intent throughout the product development process.
• Maintain and update:
Process & Coordination:
• Support catalogue readiness, sample tracking, and launch preparation.
• Collaborate with Design, Technical, Sourcing, Merchandising, Catalogue, and Retail teams to ensure timely execution of seasonal calendars.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, Apparel Design, or a related eld.
• 3–5 years of experience in Performance Apparel.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, technical fabrics, and product development.
• Experience creating ats, tech packs, and seasonal linesheets.
• Passion for sports, fitness, and performance apparel design.
Technical Skills:
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• AI-assisted design tools and workflows
